6TH GRADE–

Language Arts: Finish introductory paragraph

Reading: Read for 30 minutes; follow calendar

Social Studies: Finish Inca Roads article and questions

Math:  finish Monday’s DR and transfer answers.  Work on redos.

Science: complete cloze notes sheet sections “Cellular Organization” and ”Chemicals of Life” using page 17 in textbook.            Cut and paste pictures of Characteristics of Living Things into your journal.

 

 

7TH GRADE–

Language Arts:  Follow mythology calendar; Vocabulary test on Thursday

Reading: save your space project to the shared file before tomorrow’s class as needed.

Social Studies: none, Greece test on Wednesday, January 31

Math (Mrs. Long):  Percent of a number word problems (WS) 2 sided (the one we started in class).  Test scheduled for Thursday.

Math (Mrs. Giordano):Percent of a number word problems 1-6 (2 sided)

Science:  Highlight sections on “Cellular Organization” and “Chemicals of Life”  answering what it is and why it is a characteristic.   Answer questions 1 and 2 on page 23 (last page of the packet).

 

8TH GRADE–

Language Arts:  Reread data on race in advertising; write a reaction to this information.

Reading:  Continue working on Phase II: due Friday

Social Studies: none, Chapter 8 test on Tuesday, January 31

Math (Mrs. Long):  Daily Reviews due Friday

Math (Mrs. Giordano): Volume Review word problems 1-5. Do on separate piece of paper.

Science: no homework – PRHS step up night.  If you have time, work on The Dragon in the Cliff  vocabulary.

Algebra:  page 243-245:  #6, 9, 12, 18, 20, 31, 33, 37, 45, 47, 53, 57, 63.  Test on Chapter 4 will be WEDNESDAY.

French:
