8th Grade Advertising Contest

The 8th grade class recently created ads for the Common Man after their advertising unit in Language Arts.  After debriefing with the students about their ads, Jason Lyon, the CEO of the Common Man, posted each one on Facebook where fans can choose the winner of the contest.  The winner of the contest (which ends on April 11) will win a pizza party for 10 at the Italian Farmhouse!

6th Grade

Social Studies: None

Language Arts: No homework

Reading / Enrichment: Follow calendar; read 30 minutes

Math:  none.  Work on re-dos if you have any

Science: Invertebrate test on Monday – study the notes on your Animal Phyla wheel

French:

 

7th Grade

Social Studies: Work on Crusade mini-project which is due on Tuesday.

Language Arts: Finish advice letter to Ponyboy & Johnny (if not completed in class).  Finish reading chapters 4 & 5.

Reading / Enrichment: none

Math(Mrs. Long):  1.)  Write down at least 3 times (in real life) when you have to know perimeter.   2.)  Write down at least 3 times (in life) when you hav to know area.   3.)  Do any two problems on Enrichment WS passed out today.

Math(Ms. Giordano):  Complete any redo’s if necessary.  No additional homework.

Science:  none

French:

 

8th Grade

Social Studies: Finish chapter 11 review worksheet; Chapter 11 test on Wednesday

Language Arts: No homework

Reading / Enrichment: And Then There Were None test on Tuesday

Math(Mrs. Long):  see yesterday’s post.

Math (Ms. Giordano):Complete any redo’s if necessary.  No additional homework.
